Had the pleasure of producing a couple of tracks for my friend Hollie a few years ago. She has just released these songs along with some new material. Really unique songwriting. We don’t hear enough whistling in tracks anymore do we?

This May we will be doing a short tour of the UK, playing a selection of songs from Alessi’s current album ‘Love Is The Currency’ and the best from the previous albums.
It will be fun to play with such talented musicians and as a five piece band, it will be the largest version the ‘Ark’ there has been for a long time.
The London show will be at the Servant Jazz Quarters in Dalston, and will feature the excellent Pollyanna Valentine as the support act.

Alessi’s new album ‘Love Is The Currency’ is out on 27th October on Zooey Records. We’ll be playing a number of shows that week to promote the album, and a full UK tour is planned for Spring 2018.

Very proud to have been one of the producers on Miri’s Sound Vibrations EP.
The project was recorded with four different producers creating a song each with Miri. We wrote the title track together a few years ago, and was nice to finally get to record it properly. It features the beautiful string sounds of Alex Priest and Jenny Cheung, and I’m playing the other instruments. Find out more about Miri, or purchase the CD here.
Been busy learning to play this stunning percussive acoustic number! I think this was something like take 27… got there in the end… just!
For the last few weeks I’ve been mixing and editing a series of Flight School live videos recorded in my flat at the end of last year. Some of the songs are taken from the recent ‘You Cut The Line EP’ and we tried a few covers as well. I really wish we’d have used more than my rubbish webcam, but the sound is pretty good.
